Google Domain Instructions

Configure your domain purchased with Google Domains here.

  1. Click the DNS button for the domain you wish to manage.

  2. Scroll down to Synthetic Records and enter the following information so it matches the screenshot below:

    TypeValue
    TypeSubdomain Forward
    Subdomain@
    Destination URLwww.yoursite.com
    RedirectPermanent redirect (301)
    ForwardingForward path

    Then click Add.

    Important: Be sure to include www in your site URL

  3. Under Custom Resource Records, create a new record with the following information so it matches the screenshot below:

    TypeValue
    Namewww
    TypeCNAME
    TTLleave as default 1h
    Datahosting.foliohd.com

    Then click Add.

  4. You can now finish the setup on FolioHD. Follow these instructions to finish your domain’s setup on FolioHD.
