If you purchased your domain name on Wordpress.com, you can still configure it to work with your FolioHD site.

1. Click My Site

2. Click Domains

3. Click on the domain name you’d like to point to FolioHD

4. Click Name Servers and DNS

5. Click DNS Records

6. Click Add New DNS Record and enter the following information so it looks like the screenshot below:

   

7. Now visit the following URL to continue the setup process:

   https://MYSITE.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

   Note: Replace MYSITE with your Wordpress username.

8. Click Edit next to the domain you want to configure, as seen below:

   

9. Hover over the row where you see the letter “A” and click the pencil on the far right side, then confirm OK:

   

10. Enter the following in the Points to field: 52.5.50.145

    

    You shouldn’t need to edit your domain (and it’s okay there’s a period at the end).

    Note: Enter 52.5.50.145 and not the address seen in the screenshot.

11. You can now finish the setup on FolioHD. Follow these instructions to finish your domain’s setup on FolioHD.
